They also have a great opportunity to take part in our social media challenge on race day. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for details closer to the race!

Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at this event. However, we are big dog fans at Infinite Legacy and would love to see a photo of your dog supporting our cause! Check out Dogs for Donation on Facebook for inspiration and then share a photo of your own furry friend. Remember to tag us!

Can I register on the day of the event?
Yes, registration will be available on race day until 8:45 a.m. Please note that we will not be offering in-person registration at the event. If you need assistance registering, please call us at 410-242-7000 prior to race day and we are happy to assist you.

There is no bag drop at the Donate Life Family Fun Run.

Are strollers, wheelchairs, bikes, and/or rollerblades allowed?
Strollers and wheelchairs: Yes. Bikes and rollerblades: No.
For the safety of all participants, we cannot allow bikes and rollerblades on the course. However, strollers, wagons and wheelchairs are permitted as long as users make the safety of themselves and other participants a priority.

Can I run with a running stroller?
Yes, but not without some rules. #SafetyFirst.
-
Participants may run with a stroller as long as the child is also registered.
-
Participants may not start with the other 5K runners. Stroller participants must line up in a special area that will start just behind the runners and ahead of the 5K walkers.
No exceptions - this is for the safety of all participants!

Is this race timed and are there awards?
Yes! This race is timed for all 5K participants. Your timing chip is attached to your bib, so be sure to wear your bib on the FRONT of your shirt while on the race course. The top three overall male, female and non-binary finishers will be given cash/gift card awards and a medal. Top male, female and non-binary finishers in specific categories will receive a medal. Check out the age categories here and past race results here.

Will I need money at the event?
Up to you, but we'd suggest yes. We have food trucks and a merchandise booth at the event that you don't want to miss out on!

If I am walking, do I have to do the 1K?
Nope! Walkers are more than welcome to participate in either the 5K or the 1K. We will have different start times for walkers and runners, so please pay attention and line up with your designated group.

Do I need to register my child?
Yes. Participants of all ages need to be registered before entering the race course. Registration is free for children four and under, but please note that free child registration does not include a t-shirt. Feel free to purchase one for $10 during registration!

Will there be food?
Yes! Participants who complete either the 5K or 1K distance are welcome to free water and fruit post-race. We will also have food trucks on-site with a variety of food and beverage options for purchase.

Checks should be made out to Infinite Legacy.
-
If you are submitting a donation, please be sure to include the team or fundraiser's name in the memo.
-
If you are submitting a sponsorship, please be sure to include the business or organization name in the memo.

Can I make my own team banner and/or sign to bring to the event?
Sure! Personal team banners and/or signs make great meeting points for large teams. We do ask, however, that teams don't congregate around the picnic tables as these are reserved for people eating.

Can I make my own team t-shirts?
Please do! We encourage teams and individuals to either decorate their race t-shirts or create a new custom t-shirt to show their support of our cause. Many donor and recipient families choose to decorate their shirts in memory or in support of their loved ones. Check out photos from past years for ideas. We love to display these custom t-shirts on T-Shirt Row at the event, so please consider bringing an extra shirt to hang.

Can I mail in a paper registration form rather than registering online?
Sorry, but registration must be completed online. However, if you have a problem registering online, please call us at 410-242-7000 and a member of our team can assist with registering you over the phone using a credit card.
Can I transfer my race registration to another person?
Unfortunately, you cannot transfer a registration from one person to another; however, we can update your registration to virtual participation status. As a virtual participant, you are still supporting our cause and will receive your shirt in the mail.

Can I pick up the race packets for my whole team?
Only participants who register AFTER September 21, 2023 need to pick up packets at one of our in-person packet pickups. Our packet pickup policy (implemented in 2017) is listed below:
-
The Donate Life Family Fun Run does not allow for group or team packet pickup.
-
You ARE allowed to pick up packets for immediate family members (in the same household).
-
You ARE allowed to pick up ONE other participant's packet with advance written permission (a signed or emailed note from the participant acknowledging who will be picking up their packet).
We appreciate your understanding as we ensure a great race experience for everyone!

What's with the processing fees on my registration and donation?
Fundraising and race registration websites charge a percentage fee when they run credit cards. In past years, Infinite Legacy has taken on these fees on behalf of our supporters. In order to be more transparent about where our funds actually go and make sure that 100% of all funds raised by the Donate Life Family Fun Run are going to our mission, we are no longer absorbing these fees. If you would like to make a donation and avoid the fees, please feel free to send us a check!

Where can I order a dedication sign to be displayed at the finish line?
Finish line dedication signs are a great way to honor your loved one who was a donor or support a recipient. You can purchase them at our online store at www.infinitelegacystore.com.

I live out of town. Can I get my race packet mailed to me?
Yes! If you register for the race by August 22, 2024, we will mail your packet (bib and t-shirt) to the shipping address you provided during checkout. NOTE that you must register by August 22, 2024, at 11:59 PM, in order to take advantage of this offer. Packets will be mailed via USPS the following week.

Do I have to fundraise?
While the Donate Life Fun Run is our biggest fundraising event of the year, we DO NOT require all participants to fundraise! During the registration process, you will be required to fill out a fundraiser profile, but you can input a $0 amount for your fundraising goal. If you do choose to fundraise, check out some of our tips and tricks in the Promotion Toolkit!

I live internationally (not in the U.S.). Can I still be a virtual participant?
While we encourage virtual participants from all over the globe, unfortunately, we cannot mail race t-shirts to international participants due to the high shipping cost. If you would like to participate internationally, please either select "no t-shirt" during registration or include a U.S. mailing address for us to mail your t-shirt to a friend or family member in the U.S.

What if the race is unable to be held as planned?
2020 showed just how unpredictable our world can be. We know that it's important to have as much information at your disposal as possible before deciding to attend an event, and we want you to know exactly what your options will be should the 2023 in-person race not be able to take place as originally planned. Please review our race policies carefully prior to registering.
